Split Rock Lighthouse is turning 100!

This is a great opportunity to dig out those old vacation photos. To help mark the 100th anniversary of Split Rock Lighthouse, the Minnesota Historical Society is putting out a call for vintage vacation photos taken at the site prior to 1980. In addition to creating an online community on Flickr, the site manager plans to select some of the images to include in an exhibit in the Visitor Center this summer.

Add your pictures to the group at http://www.flickr.com/groups/vintagesplitrock/ via your own Flickr account. Make sure you include the story behind the picture, as well as the year the photograph was taken.
