Home for Life Animal Sanctuary, a care-for-life animal sanctuary based in
Artists have the option of purchasing their own house or statue or Home for Life will provide the basic statue or house to work with. Dog houses will be simple medium sized cedar doghouses on which the artist can design; fibreglass statues of the dog breed or cat or other pet of your choice will be provided by Cowpainters for the artist to design upon (like the Peanuts statues). The statues are realistic, life size models of dogs, cats and other pets with various dog breeds available.
The doghouses and statues will be displayed beginning November 22, 2009 thru January 3, 2010 in front of Nordstrom’s Court at the Mall of America. Doghouses and statues will be for sale with all proceeds benefiting the animals at Home for Life.
The art work needs to be delivered to the Mall of America by November 21 along with an artists’ statement.
