Drawings and paintings by Clarence Morgan and Howard Oransky
Howard Oransky, Distant Thoughts, 2009, oil on canvas
Clarence Morgan is often known from his colorful abstracts. Howard Oransky is often known from his work in remembrance of the Holocaust. In recent years, each artist has uncovered a new path. Morgan is working primarily in black and white, creating forms that resemble organisms. Oransky has been making abstract paintings that search for the "perfect" gesture. Morgan and Oransky, who became acquainted 15 years ago, are both transplants to Minnesota.
