Mississippi Mermaids Emerge

Saturday, September 12, on the Mississippi River.

Creative Electric Studios presents new work by Pattie Chalmers, "Mudmaid Museum."

Chalmers creates works using diverse materials such as clay, wax, fabric and embroidery. Chalmers playful, unpretentious artworks are always thought-provoking. I think I saw a mudmaid just the other day under the Hennepin Avenue Bridge surveying St. Anthony Falls.

Opening reception: 6:30-10 pm.
