Rochester Art Center

If you get a chance to visit Rochester this summer be sure and visit the Rochester Art Center. The current main exhibit is the hyper-realistic work of Karel Funk. Each of the portraits in the exhibit draw you closer and closer which contrasts with the position of the subjects themselves: looking away, eyes closed, back turned.

The technique is stunning, be sure to see it (the exhibit continues through August 30).
